Celebration Of Menstruation (NSFW)
Society tells us that our monthly cycles are disgusting, unhygienic, something that needs to be cleaned up and hidden away.
This blog is place to celebrate our monthly cycles, instead of viewing them as "a curse". A place to talk about menstruation the great things and the sometimes not so great things without having to fear judgement for bringing up a taboo subject. Somewhere were we can feel comfortable to yell "I'm on period and it's fucking fantastic!" without fear of judgement.
Please feel free to invade my ask box and submit things.

Anonymous: I am honestly SO glad I found your tumblr. I got my period when I was very young (8) and for the longest time I didn't know that the lining of your uterus comes out. I thought I was the only one it happened to. I'm 16 now, and this is probably the first time I've discovered proof it happens to other women as well. this made me feel so much better about myself. thank you.

That’s very young to have started your period, although I do believe it’s becoming more common to get your first period earlier.

It must have been very difficult to cope with. Things like this, though, are why I believe it’s important to talk about menstruation. When you get your first period it’s kind of a big deal, especially if you haven’t a clue what’s happening. I mean, I’ve read stories of young girls who thought they were dying.

That’s why it’s important that menstruation isn’t a taboo subject. That’s why it’s important that we talk about our menstrual cycles.

Thank you for your message, I’m glad this blog has helped you. <3
