iwrestledacuntonce: I just stumbled across your tumblr tonight and I'm confused. It's good that you celebrate your period but all I can think of right now is how I hate mine. With a passion. The cramps, the blood, the mood swings, I could do without it. How do you get past the pain and discomfort?


I’m quite lucky as I don’t get really bad cramps all that often. The things that work best for me, when I do get cramps, are a hot waterbottle or masturbating.

I’ve also heard people say that when they begin to embrace and learn about their menstrual cycle the pain and discomfort can stop, or they see it in a different light. 

I know people who swear by bananas, others who take painkillers, different things work for different people. Try some remedies and see what works for you.
